Fantasy BOLD Predictions – 2021 Results: AFC Edition

Fantasy BOLD Predictions – 2021 Edition

We all know Fantasy Football is a wild and crazy game. So I figure why not embrace it. Here are 16 BOLD Prediction results for the 2021 Fantasy Football season.

New England – Jakobi Meyers will finish as a top 20 WR in PPR – Finally scored his 1st career TD, but only finished as WR32.

Buffalo – Josh Allen will finish outside the top 10 QBs – He finished #1 overall. Eek.

NY Jets – Keelan Cole will be the highest scoring Jets WR in .5 PPR – He finished 4th thanks to limited target share, and not being that good.

Miami – Tua Tagovailoa will finish as a top 8 QB – Wasn’t even top 24 due to injuries, and not being very productive.

Jacksonville – James Robinson will finish outside the top 24 RBs. – Even with missing the last 3 games of the season, Robinson finished RB23 in PPR. Hopefully he can recover from his Achilles injury Cam Akers-style.

Indianapolis – Carson Wentz will finish as top 10 QB in PPG – Ended up QB 14 after a late season collapse.

Tennessee – Julio Jones will outscore A.J. Brown in Total Points. – Julio was barely a top 100 WR. Very disappointing season.

Houston – Brandin Cooks will finish as a top 20 WR. – Finished as the WR 21 thanks to missing one game with Covid. I feel like this is a win, given the QBs he played with.

Cincinnati – Joe Mixon will finish as the #1 RB overall. - He finished #3 in .5 PPR. Close one.

Pittsburgh – Smith-Schuster, Claypool, and Johnson will all finish as top 15 WRs. - Diontae Johnson was a top 10 WR. Claypool was disappointing, and Juju only played 5 games.

Cleveland – Austin Hooper will finish as a top 8 TE. - Surprisingly, Hooper wasn’t even the highest scoring TE on his team.

Baltimore – Marquise Brown will finish as a top 15 WR in PPG. – Hollywood started the season on fire, but he tailed off majorly with injuries to both himself and Lamar Jackson.

Denver – Melvin Gordon will outscore Javonte Williams – Melvin actually outscored him in all formats.

Kansas City – Travis Kelce will finish outside the top 3 TEs. – Well, he didn’t finish #1, so there’s that.

Oakland – Josh Jacobs will finish as a top 10 RB in .5 PPR. – he finished 13, a lot higher than most had him ranked before the season.

LA Chargers – Mike Williams will outscore Keenan Allen in .5 PPR. - Another winner for me. Even though Williams tailed off later in the year.
