Rams lock up Goff

The Los Angeles Rams and 4th year QB Jared Goff have reportedly reached an agreement on 4 year, $130 million contract extension, which includes an NFL-record $110 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Take

Although I'm not high on Jared Goff as a talent, I'm firmly on the side of players getting paid. Sean McVay has seemingly pulled off a miracle, turning Goff from one of the worst rookie QBs in modern NFL history into a Super Bowl participant. As long as McVay sticks around and as long as aren't playing the Patriots, Goff remains a low end QB-1 in most formats due to the talent around him.
