Week 10 Waiver Wire Report

Week 9 is finally over! None of those points will carry over to week 10, so it’s time to find the guys who will score you points in week 5. These are my favorite players to target.

(Based on players who are owned in 67% or less of Yahoo fantasy leagues)

QB

Jared Goff (63%) – LAR vs Seahawks

The Seahawks defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone this season. They were just torched by Josh Allen and the Bills, and now they face a well-rested Rams offense. Goff has played well vs the Seahawks recently and should perform well in week 10.

Drew Lock (20%) – DEN vs Raiders

We have watched Drew Lock put up great numbers the last two weeks, and he gets another great matchup against the Raiders in week 10. He has thrown at least 40 passes in his last 3 games, and thrown for 5 TDs in his last two games.

Other options

Jake Luton (3%) – JAC vs Packers

Derek Carr (46%) – LV vs Chargers

Nick Mullens (6%) – SF vs Saints

RB

Duke Johnson (16%) – HOU vs Browns

David Johnson left week 9 early with a concussion, opening the way for Duke Johnson to finally become the lead ball carrier. He had a career high in carries (16) and totaled 20 touches. He faces the Browns in a revenge game in week 10, so there is some extra motivation there.

JD McKissic (24%) – WAS vs Lions

JD McKissic has been a PPR beast this season, having a team high 14 targets in week 9. He out-snapped Antonio Gibson as well. The Football Team faces the Lions who have struggled against RBs, especially out of the backfield.

Other Options

Giovani Bernard (54%) – CIN vs Steelers

Matt Brieda (25%) – MIA vs Chargers

Cam Akers (30%) – LAR vs Seahawks

Wayne Gallman Jr. (25%) - NYG vs Eagles

WR

Curtis Samuel (30%) – CAR vs Buccaneers

To the dismay of DJ Moore owners everywhere, Curtis Samuel has come on lately. He is averaging over 6 targets a game over his last 3 games, and has scored a TD in 3 straight games. He gets a Bucs defense who was completely destroyed by the Saints on Sunday Night. He also gets a few carries a week, giving him a solid weekly floor.

Tim Patrick (21%) – DEN vs Raiders

Tim Patrick is back healthy, and ready to start along side Jerry Jeudy. He was only able to catch 4 of his 9 targets in week 9, but he did manage to score. He should start to gel more with Drew Lock as the season continues.

Other Options

Deebo Samuel (58%) – SF vs Saints

Allen Lazard (38%) – GB vs Jaguars

Sterling Shepard (51%) – NYG vs Eagles

Jalen Raegor (24%) – PHI vs Giants

TE

Dallas Goedert (55%) – PHI vs Giants

Dallas Goedert is finally healthy, and with Zach Ertz still on the shelf with an ankle injury, he should be the lead TE in the Eagles offense. Although he only had 1 target in week 8, he played over 80% of snaps. Expect top 8 weekly TE upside from Goedert for the remainder of the season.

Trey Burton (23%) – IND vs Titans

Jack Doyle left week 9 early after suffering a nasty concussion, opening the way for Trey Burton to get more snaps. He basically plays every position on offense, so he will get opportunities to put up fantasy points.

Other Options

Irv Smith Jr. (53%) – MIN on Bears

Austin Hooper (41%) – CLE vs Texans

D/ST

New Orleans Saints (47%) – vs 49ers

After watching the Saints completely shut down the Bucs on Sunday night, I can only imagine what they will do against the 49ers banged up offense in week 10. They are easily the top streaming option this week.

Other Options

Philadelphia Eagles (47%) – vs Giants

Green Bay Packers (37%) – vs Jaguars
