Week 8 DFS Fanduel Tournament Plays

Draft Hustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Plays of the week

QB

Joe Burrow – CIN ($7,600) vs Titans

Joe Burrow has lived up to the hype as the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He is currently leading the league in pass attempts per game, and is coming off of his best game as a pro, passing for 400 yards and scoring 5 TDs. He gets a shaky Titans secondary in week 8. The Titans-Bengals game currently has the highest projected total according to Vegas, meaning there will be plenty of points available to Burrow.

RB

Jonathan Taylor – IND ($7,300) vs Lions

Jonathan Taylor is well rested coming off of a bye and walks into a great matchup against the Lions. They give up the 5th most Fanduel points to RBs. Taylor has gotten at least 12 carries in every game since Marlon Mack went down, and he caught all 4 of his targets in week 6. He is priced slightly higher than the chalk RBs this week, so the low ownership will make him a solid tourney play.

WR

Marquise Brown – BAL ($5,900) vs Steelers

Marquise Brown always has big play potential with his speed. He has a great matchup, as Pittsburgh is much better against the run than the pass. The rank in the top 8 in Fanduel PPG allowed, Catch Rate allowed, and TD% allowed to WRs. He also has a 25% target share for Baltimore so the opportunities will be plenty in this divisional matchup.

TE

George Kittle – SF ($7,700) vs Seahawks

Any pass catcher facing the Seahawks is a great play, making arguably the best TE in the game even more appealing. George Kittle is currently leading all TEs in targets and yards, so he has a solid floor. A lot of Fanduel players will see that Seattle ranks as a tough matchup for TEs, but that is because they have yet to allow a TD to a TE. With Deebo Samuel out and every 49ers RB seemingly injured, Kittle will be targeted early and often.

D/ST

Baltimore Ravens – ($4,700) vs Steelers

The Ravens have stood out as the best defense in the league thus far, having giving up a league low 17 PPG. This game is only projected to have an over/under of 45.5, so the scoring won’t be as high as it would seem based on the teams playing. The Ravens rank 2nd in sacks per game, and 1st in fumble recoveries and return TDs, so the chance for points is there and they provide a little salary relief from the Chiefs.
