Justin Jefferson heads to Minnesota

With the 22nd pick in the 2020 NFL virtual draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Justin Jefferson, WR out of LSU.

Out with the old, in with the new. Justin Jefferson will immediately fill the shoes left by Stefon Diggs. He played a lot in the slot for LSU, but with Adam Thielen handling that role for the Vikings, Jefferson will play a little more outside. Over 100 targets are available in this offense, although the Vikings have transitioned to a more run heavy team. Like most of the rookies taken, Jefferson sits squarely in the WR4 range with PPR upside.
