2020 NFL Draft Fantasy Grades: AFC East

The 2020 NFL draft is finally completed. Some teams made some very relevant moves in terms of fantasy football. Some others left everyone scratching their head (Yes, we are talking about you, Green Bay Packers) as they did nothing to improve their own chances at winning. I will be giving a division by division breakdown of each team’s fantasy relevant draft picks and how it will impact them in the upcoming fantasy season.

Buffalo BillsB-

Notable Draft Picks

RB Zach Moss

QB Jake Fromm

The Bills drafted RB Zach Moss to be the heir apparent to Frank Gore. He will be compliment Devin Singletary as the team’s bruiser/goal line back. They also drafted Georgia WB Jake Fromm. He will serve as the back up to Josh Allen and currently has no fantasy relevance.

Miami DolphinsA

Notable Draft Picks

QB Tua Tagovailoa

T Austin Jackson

T Robert Hunt

RB Matt Breida (via trade)

The Miami Dolphins their QB of the future in Tua Tagovailoa. They were also to able to nab 2 offensive linemen to protect him and his hip as much as possible. RB Matt Breida was also traded to Miami for a 5th round pick. The Miami Dolphins appear to be on the right track with the rebuild.

New England PatirotsD-

Notable Draft Picks

TE Devin Asiasi

The Patriots didn’t draft a replacement for Tom Brady. They didn’t draft any outside weapons for whoever will start at QB for them come week 1. I guess we have to give Bill Belichek the benefit of the doubt based on his history, but the outlook on the 2020 version of the New England Patriots appears grim.

New York JetsB

Notable Draft Picks

WR Denzel Mims

T Mekhi Becton

The Jets were able to grab a much needed outside weapon in WR Denzel Mims to compliment Jamison Crowder. They were also able to secure a top 3 offensive linemen prospect in Mekhi Becton, who will help protect Sam Darnold as well as help improve the running game for LeVeon Bell.
