2023 Fantasy Football BOLD Predictions RECAP – AFC Edition



Let's revisit my bold predictions for the AFC in 2023!



New England – Ezekiel Elliott outscores Rhamondre Stevenson in .5 PPR. – Ezekiel Elliott scored 151 while Rhamondre who missed 5 games only scored 128.7.


Buffalo – Gabriel Davis finishes as a top 15 WR in .5 PPR. – Gabriel Davis finished WR39 with 138.9.


NY Jets – Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook both rush for 1,000 yards. – Neither RB topped 1,000 yards Breece Hall barely missed the mark with 994 rushing yards, and Dalvin Cook only had 214 yards.


Miami – Tua Tagovailoa finishes as a top 5 QB in 6 pt pass TDs. – Tua started strong but finished slow and ended as QB9 in 6 point pass TDs lead.  


 

 



Jacksonville – Christian Kirk outscores Calvin Ridley in .5 PPR. – Christian Kirk was on track to outscore Ridley but fell to injury and Ridley took this ne 189.9 to 125.8.


Indianapolis – Anthony Richardson has 3,500 passing yards and 1,200 rushing yards. – Anthony Richardson fell short after only laying 4 games due to injury.

Tennessee – Ryan Tannehill finishes as a top 12 QB in 4 pt pass TDs. – Ryan Tannehill lost his starting job to Will Levis and finished as QB35. 


Houston – Nico Collins finishes as a top 20 WR in .5 PPR. – Nico Collins was a top sleeper of mine, and he came through finishing as WR10. 





Cincinnati – Joe Mixon finishes as the #1 RB in PPR. – Joe Mixon didn’t reach RB1, but outpaced his ADP by finishing as RB6.


Pittsburgh – Jaylen Warren finishes as a top 24 RB in PPR. – Jaylen Warren finished RB20 in full PPR, ahead of starter Najee Harris.   


Cleveland – David Njoku finishes as a top 3 TE in .5 PPR. – David Njoku finished strong and finished as TE5 with 205.2 points.

 

Baltimore – Lamar Jackson will pass for 4,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards. – Lamar just missed the mark, finishing with 3,678 pass yards and 821 rush yards.


 

 



Denver – Russell Wilson finishes as a top 5 QB. – Russell Wilson was benched for contractual reasons and he finished as QB14.


Kansas City – Kansas City Chiefs have 3 WRs finish in the top 25 in .5 PPR. – Kansas city had 0 WRS finish in the top 25. Rashee Rice finished the highest as WR27.


Las Vegas – Darren Waller will finish as the TE1 Overall. – Darren Waller missed 5 games and finished as TE21.


LA Chargers – Keenan Allen and Mike Williams finish as top 10 WRs in .5 PPR. – Keenan Allen finished as WR8 despite missing 4 games, but Mike Williams suffered a torn ACL and only played 3 games.

 

 3.5 out of 16 is pretty solid if you ask me! Check back during the off-season for more 2023 recaps and 2024 content!
