According to reports, the Tennessee Titans are trading WR A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 18th and 101st pick in the 2022 NFL draft.
Fantasy Insight
A.J. Brown gets his wish after requesting a trade a few weeks ago. Jalen Hurts is the biggest winner in this deal as he receives a top 10 WR to throw to alongside Devonta Smith. Jalen solidifies his spot as a top 10 QB, and he has weekly #1 QB upside given his running ability. A.J. Brown is a mid-range WR2, while Devonta Smith takes a slight hit in value, dropping down to a low-end WR2/high-end WR3.
The Titans used the pick they acquired from the Eagles to draft rookie WR Treylon Burks, who is basically a A.J. Brown clone, and an instant winner as a result of this trade. He will be the clear WR1 on this team until Robert Woods fully recovers from a torn ACL. Assuming the Titans don't spend a day 2 draft pick on a WR, or sign one in free agency, Burks can be drafted a low-end WR3 who will get his fair share of targets from Ryan Tannehill.
