AD heads to the Motor City. Peterson signs with Lions

According to reports, future Hall of Famer RB Adrian Peterson has signed with the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Insight Leave it to the Detroit Lions to further muddle their already muddled backfield by signing Adrian Peterson. He joins the oft-injured Kerryon Johnson and the rookie D'Andre Swift. In situations like this, I usually prefer to take the guy who is going latest, because they have the lowest opportunity cost in drafts. That looks to be Peterson this year, but I don't anticipate Peterson getting a big role due to the lack of defense in Detroit. I would take my chances on D'Andre Swift as an RB3 in the middle rounds. Don't depend on any of those guys as a starter to begin the season.
