Chris Thompson signs with Jaguars; Reunites with former coach.

According to reports, Former Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will reunite with former Redskins Head Coach and current Jaguars offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.

This was one of the more predictable free agent signings we have had so far. Chris Thompson had a ton of success playing under Jay Gruden in Washington. He is a PPR stud when he is healthy, and will see plenty of third down and passing downs work. This will unfortunately hurt the value of Leonard Fournette, who was reportedly on the trading block earlier this off season. Fournette becomes a mid range RB2, while Chris Thompson becomes a high end RB4/Flex in PPR formats.
