Fantasy Wishlist for Every Team – AFC East

No NFL team is perfect, and every team can improve in some form or fashion. Here is my top want for every NFL team prior to the 2023 NFL Fantasy Season.

Buffalo BillsFind a Goal Line Running Back!

I love the running ability of Josh Allen just as much as the next person, but he must slow down on the big hits to prolong his career. The Bills seem to want to go forward with James Cook as their top back going into 2003, and I would love them to find a bigger back to compliment him. Ezekiel Elliott’s release makes him a prime candidate, although he would hurt the value of both Josh Allen and James Cook. If they are really feeling froggy, going after Austin Ekeler would be a strong move for them.

Miami DolphinsGet an Elite Workhorse Running Back!

Seeing how trading for Christian McCaffrey unlocked he 49ers offense, I would like to see Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins take a similar approach. It appears Dalvin Cook, Derrick Henry, and Austin Ekeler are available for trade. Out of those 3, Dalvin Cook would be my favorite in Miami. His speed compliments the speed of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. A Dalvin trade would also open up the way for Alexander Mattison to become the lead back in Minnesota.

New England PatriotsCommit to Rhamondre Stevenson!

Rhamondre Stevenson had a breakout 2022 season, showing he can be a workhorse running back for the New England Patriots. He rushed for over 1,000 yards to go along with over 400 receiving yards on 69 catches. The Patriots signed James Robinson to replace Damien Harris, but I don’t anticipate him being a hinderance to Stevenson. If Rhamondre can get 300 total touches in 2023, he is a lock for a top 6 RB finish. If he is available in round 3 in August, snatch him as quick as possible!

New York JetsDo Whatever to get Aaron Rodgers!

At this point, it appears to a be a forgone conclusion that Aaron Rodgers, but there’s always a chance that things can go wrong, because the Jets are the Jets. If the holdup is on the Jets’ side, then they need to drop the pride and ego and make it happen. Acquiring Aaron Rodgers would solidify Garrett Wilson as a top 15 WR at worst, regardless of who else the Jets bring in. He will also help take pressure off of the Jets’ running game, particularly Breece Hall when he returns.
