No NFL team is perfect, and every team can improve in some form or fashion. Here is my top want for every NFL team prior to the 2023 NFL Fantasy Season.
Baltimore Ravens – Just pay Lamar Jackson already!
The Ravens organization is just being stubborn at this point. They traded up to draft him in the 1st round. They built their entire team around him. He has won 75% percent of his games since he became the starter. He has won a unanimous MVP with them. Give him the contract he wants and has earned, give him a competent #1 WR and ends this foolishness.
Cleveland Browns – Give Nick Chubb the Reigns!
With Kareem Hunt, out of the picture, Nick Chubb is currently the only viable running back in Cleveland, and I want it to stay that way. Chubb is arguably the most efficient running back in the league and I want him to get as many carries as possible. The keep him fresh for the fantasy playoffs, they can bring in a D’Ernest Johnson-type running back to spell him every few drives. Chubb had 14 or less carries in 3 of his last 5 games, and that should never happen.
Cincinnati Bengals – Keep Joe Mixon!
The Bengals’ passing game is solidified with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins (for now), but they need to remain a balanced attack, and Joe Mixon gives them the best chance to do that. Samaje Perine was huge thorn in Mixon’s side last season, but he is gone. Joe Mixon should have the back field mostly to himself, and he will have plenty of chances to score in the Bengals high powered offense.
Pittsburgh Steelers – Lean on Najee Harris!
Based on the way Najee Harris finished last season, its clear to see how hampered he was by the off-season foot injury he suffered. The Steelers leaned more on their bell cow back, late in the season and it lead to more wins, and nearly making the playoffs after a terrible start. They appear to be all in with Kenny Pickett, so the best way to protect him is to have a solid running game for him to lean on. Najee has shown he can be a 300+ touch back, so treat him that way.
