Fantasy Wishlist for Every Team – NFC East

No NFL team is perfect, and every team can improve in some form or fashion. Here is my top want for every NFL team prior to the 2023 NFL Fantasy Season.

Dallas CowboysFind a capable #2 WR!

CeeDee Lamb had his breakout year in 2022, finishing the year with a 156/107/1,359/9 stat line. He has shown that he can be a #1 WR, but Dallas lacked a 2nd go to WR at times last year and it showed. Whether it's signing a guy like Jakobi Meyers or spending their 1st round pick on a top college prospect. Dak Prescott needs a reliable # WR to help keep the Cowboys offense in the upper echelon of the league.

Philadelphia EaglesDecide on a Bell Cow RB.

With Miles Sanders likely heading to free agency, Kenneth Gainwell is likely to step in as the lead ball carrier in the Eagles offense. Last year was frustrating when the Eagles would give 3 guys a share of the back field. My hope is that Kenneth Gainwell (or a premium draft pick used on a RB) becomes the bell cow in this high-powered offense, with a guy like Boston Scott being strictly a handcuff.

New York GiantsKeep Saquon Barkley at all costs!

Although the Giants were impressed with Daniel Jones improvement as a QB last season, Saquon Barkley was the engine to that offense. After being 2 years removed from a torn ACL, he showed the world why he was one of the top RB prospects in the last decade. The Giants need to find a way to keep him on this team, whether it be a franchise tag or a contract, while surrounding Daniel Jones with NFL Caliber WRs, to prevent teams from stacking the box against Barkley.

Washington CommandersSign/Draft a starting caliber QB.

The Commanders were the only team from this division to not make the playoffs, mainly because of their subpar QB situation. They have taken a positive step by signing Eric Bieniemy as their OC, and they must follow that up by improving at QB. Trading for a guy like Aaron Rodgers would be ideal should he become available, as well as signing a guy like Derek Carr. In any case, please don’t let Terry McLaurin go into the 2023 season with Taylor Heinicke as his QB!
