Fantasy Wishlist for Every Team – NFC West

No NFL team is perfect, and every team can improve in some form or fashion. Here is my top want for every NFL team prior to the 2023 NFL Fantasy Season.

Arizona CardinalsKeep De’Andre Hopkins!

Kyler Murray has been a pretty good QB in his career without De’Andre Hopkins on the field. With Nuk on the field, Murray has been a top 5 fantasy QB, for obvious reasons. Hopkins provides some stability to a team that is starting a 1st year head coach, and most likely a backup QB for the first few games of the season. With Kyler expected to come back at some point during the 2023 season, he will need his safety blanket as he returns from a torn ACL. Arizona must find a way to make their star WR happy and in a Cardinal uniform.

Los Angeles RamsImprove the offensive line!

It's hard to deny the chemistry Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp had in 2021 as they lead the Rams to a Super bowl title. 2022 was a much different story however, as both Kupp and Stafford were unable to finish the season due to injuries. With Sean McVay remaining the Rams head coach, all the pieces are there for the Rams’ offense to return to its 2021 form. Stafford’s injury history is a bit more concerning than Cooper Kupp’s, so the Rams must find a way to improve their subpar offensive line and Keep Stafford upright.

San Francisco 49ersDo not start Brock Purdy over Trey Lance!

Given the circumstances, Brock purdy did a pretty good job as he filled in as starter for the 49ers late in 2022, but the hype has gotten to be a bit too much in my opinion. While he was productive, Purdy did not do anything on the field that a healthy Trey Lance doesn’t have the capability of doing. Lance is simply a better talent, and he has the upside to carry this 49ers offense to the Super Bowl that has evaded them throughout the Kyle Shanahan tenure.

Seattle SeahawksStick with 1 Tight End!

The only thing I can think of in fantasy football that is more frustrating that a Running back by Committee is a Tight by Committee. The Seattle Seahawks had 3 Tight Ends (Noah Fant, Will Dissly, and Colby Parkinson) all play in at least 15 games in 2022 and each of them received at least 34 targets, but none of them received more than 63 targets. It was impossible to decide which one to start at any point during the season. My vote is for Noah Fant as he is the most athletic of the 3. Please throw us a bone, Pete Carroll!
