According to reports, LA Chargers RB Melvin Gordon will report to the team on Thursday, effectively ending his holdout.
This is good news for all of the owners who spent the draft capital on Melvin Gordon and trusted the process. Conversely, it is bad for all if the owners who have been riding Austin Ekeler for the first few weeks. Melvin will not play in week 4 against the Dolphins, so Ekeler should still have at least one more workhorse week. Going forward, expect Melvin Gordon to resume his normal role, and be a RB1 for the remainder of the season. Austin Ekeler becomes a flex RB in PPR. Justin Jackson becomes waiver wore fodder upon Melvin's return.
