J.K. Dobbins suffers major knee injury: out for 2021 season

According to reports, Baltimore Ravens second year RB J.K. Dobbins suffered a torn ACL in Saturday's preseason game and will miss the 2021 NFL season.

Fantasy Impact

This is a tough blow for the Ravens as Dobbins was slated to be the lead RB in the leagues best rushing attack. Prayers out him and we hope he can make a full recovery to return stronger in the 2022 season.

Gus Edwards is expected to step into the lead RB role for the Ravens. He isn't as talented as Dobbins, but he is super efficient and will fill in nicely. He averaged 5.27 yards per carry in 2020 on a sizeable workload. I have moved him up to RB24 in DraftHustle's rankings. He should be drafted as a solid RB2 in all formats. His lack of receiving will limit his upside. Take him confidently as early as the 5th round.
