Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump, Stump and Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – Matt Ryan, QB
NFFC ADP – QB15 (#114 Overall)
NDL Rank – QB13
If there is one thing Matt Ryan can do, it’s put up fantasy numbers. He has thrown at least 600 passes for at least 4,400 yards for the past 3 seasons. He lost Julio Jones but gained Kyle Pitts to go along with Calvin Ridley, so he still has 2 good to great receiving weapons. The rushing QBs have pushed him outside of his perennial top 10 placement, but as high end QB2, I can see him improving on that, especially if you are against taking one of the big time QBs early on. Pairing him with a young QB with upside soon after is recommended.

DUMP – Kyle Pitts, TE
NFFC10 ADP – TE4 (#58 Overall)
NDL Rank – TE5
As a Florida Gator fan, I struggle putting Kyle Pitts here, but his ADP is just too high for me. He is currently being drafted in the 5th round, and he would need to have the greatest TE season in 50 years to justify that. While I believe he is one of the greatest TE prospects ever, betting on him in the 5th round is dangerous. Another knock against him is Austin Hooper still being there, and new Head Coach Arthur Smith used dual TE sets frequently as the OC in Tennessee.
