Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump & Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!
PUMP – Marquise Brown, WR
NFFC ADP – WR48 (#109 Overall)
NDL Rank – WR29
This is another example of recency bias dropping guys well below value. Marquise Brown started off last season slow, but picked it up in the second half of the season, scoring double digits in each of his last 6 games. Rashod Bateman is injured, and Mark Andrews can’t get all of the targets. He should maintain 20%+ target share and he is always as great dee threat. Draft him as a WR4, throw him in your WR3 spot and flourish.
DUMP – J.K. Dobbins, RB
NFFC10 ADP – RB15 (#28 Overall)
NDL Rank – RB17
I love Dobbins as a talent, but I am not as enthused about his current circumstance. He will be very efficient in the leagues best rushing attack, but he will max out at 40% of the carries, and he offers very little in the receiving game. His 3rd round ADP is only justifiable in non-PPR leagues, and no one should be playing in those.
