Pump or Dump 2021 – Carolina Panthers

Pump or Dump 2021 – Carolina Panthers

Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump, Stump and Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – Robby Anderson, WR

NFFC ADP – WR33 (#80 Overall)

NDL Rank – WR27

Robby Anderson showed flashes of what he can do once he gets from under the shadow of Adam Gase. This year, he gets to reunite with Sam Darnold so there will be some chemistry there. Although I don’t believe Darnold is a better QB than Teddy Bridgewater, but I do believe he will take more chances down the field than Bridgewater, which increases the upside of Robby Anderson. I will proudly take him as a WR3 in redraft leagues.

DUMP – N/A

NFFC10 ADP – N/A

NDL Rank – N/A

There aren’t any Panthers that have ADP that I think is too high, because they aren’t many Panthers players being drafted in high value rounds in general. Christian McCaffrey is the new age Ladanian Tomlinson and deserves to be drafted #1 overall regardless of format. Sam Darnold is currently being drafted as a QB3 but has the weapons to give him Top-15 QB upside on a weakly basis, assuming he was only being held back by the Jets and Adam Gase. I love him as a QB2 in Superflex if you get one of the group I have dubbed “The Sinister 6” (Mahomes/Jackson/Murray/Allen/Prescott/Wilson). WR D.J. Moore has been WR14 and WR21 in PPG the past 2 years, so his current NFFC ADP of WR20 is right where he should be.
