Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump & Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). PUMP – Joe Mixon, RB
NFFC ADP – RB13 (#20 Overall)
NDL Rank – RB7
Joe Mixon burned everyone who drafted him with an early pick last year, and that has caused him to fall down to an RB2 according to ADP. I believe in his talent , and his opportunity to lead the league in touches now that Giovani Bernard is no longer in the Bengals backfield. I currently have him as my RB7, and will gladly take him as my RB2, or even my RB1 if I take a WR or Kelce in the 1st round.
DUMP – Tee Higgins, WR
NFFC10 ADP – WR23 (#54 Overall)
NDL Rank – WR35
Tee Higgins was the new hotness last year, but Ja’Marr Chase is the big man on campus in Cincinnati now. Chase is the superior prospect with better draft pedigree, and it’s only a matter of time before he takes over the #1 WR role. Both Higgins and Chase are being drafted too early for my taste, but since Higgins is going before Chase in drafts currently, he is less likely to be on my rosters.
