Pump or Dump 2021 – Denver Broncos

Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump, Stump and Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – Melvin Gordon, RB

NFFC ADP – RB32 (#83 Overall)

NDL Rank – RB29

Melvin Gordon has been dissed by the fantasy community the past few years, but that hasn’t stopped him from performing. He finished as RB16 and RB27 in PPG respectively in 2019 & 2020. He is set to be the lead back for the Broncos in 2021, but he is being drafted almost 3 rounds after rookie Javonte Williams. I’d much rather have Melvin Gordon as my RB3 at that ADP.

DUMP – Courtland Sutton, WR

NFFC10 ADP – WR33 (#77 Overall)

NDL Rank – WR46

Courtland Sutton is coming back rather slowly from a torn ACL in 2020. Coaches have been reported as saying he looks hesitant in training camp. His current 7th round ADP just isn’t warranted at this point. Jerry Jeudy is the superior WR and will assume the #1 role in that passing game. Courtland Sutton should be drafted as a teams WR5 at the absolute most.
