Pump or Dump 2021 – Indianapolis Colts

Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. Drafthustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump, Stump and Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – None

NFFC ADP – N/A

NDL Rank – N/A

The Colts offense has been ravaged with injuries, and that has led to a downgrade to all the remaining healthy players. I was drafting T.Y. Hilton as a WR4 in basically all of my bestball leagues prior to the Wentz injury, but now I am basically out on all Colts WR options. If we get news that Wentz is on track to play week 1, and your season-long draft is late enough, this may change in the future.

DUMP – Jonathan Taylor, RB

MFL10 ADP – RB6 (#6 Overall)

NDL Rank – RB10

This has nothing to do with the talent of Jonathan Taylor. In my opinion, the rest of the league should be thanking their lucky stars that the Kansas City Chiefs did not draft Taylor instead of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. This has more to do with Taylor’s supporting cast. When Carson Wentz went down with his foot injury, I was on the side of Taylor being more solidified in his position. The Quinton Nelson injury, however, forced me to change my stance. The Colts are arguably the best offensive line with a healthy Nelson. He could be out up to 12 weeks, and there are too many other RBs with more stable situations available to continue to take Taylor as a first round pick.
