Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump & Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!
PUMP – Henry Ruggs III, WR
NFFC ADP – WR56 (#131 Overall)
NDL Rank – WR45
Henry Ruggs is poised to take over the top WR role after Nelson Agholor’s departure. He has the draft pedigree and the talent to fill Agholor’s shoes. 82 targets are up for grabs and Ruggs can take over at least half of those. He is being drafted as a WR 5, but I believe he can have weekly WR3 upside.
DUMP – Darren Waller, TE
NFFC10 ADP – TE2 (#22 Overall)
NDL Rank – TE3
Darren Waller had his breakout last season as he finished as the clear #2 TE to Kelce. I currently have Waller as part of the Big 3 TEs, but I have Kittle as my #2 TE. I tend to lean towards upside when I draft, so Kittle in the 3rd is much more appealing than Waller in the 2nd as he is the more explosive and dynamic player. The only exception would be in a TE-premium league that favors Waller and his higher catch potential.
