Pump or Dump 2021 – Los Angeles Chargers

Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump, Stump and Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – Keenan Allen, WR

NFFC ADP – WR10 (#27 Overall)

NDL Rank – WR9

Keenan Allen has been the model of consistency for years. He has averaged 100 receptions, 1,195 yards and scored at least 6 TDs over the last 4 seasons. He been a top 12 WR in 15 weeks the last 2 years, and top 3 in 10 of those weeks. He is a lock to finish top 10, and has top 5 upside in any league that counts catches if he were to get double digit catches. The 3rd round is the perfect spot to draft him.

DUMP – Justin Herbert, QB

NFFC10 ADP – QB8 (#72 Overall)

NDL Rank – QB7

Once again, this is not an indictment to the player, but an indictment on the position. I actually have Justin Herbert ranked higher than his current NFC ADP. He is being taken in the 6th round, and that is just too high for me. The 6th round is where I would consider taking guys like Prescott and Wilson, who is have a tier above Herbert. The only exception would be if I already have Keenan Allen on my roster, and I am able to grab Herbert in the late 6th for a stack.
