Pump or Dump 2021 – Los Angeles Rams

Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump & Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). You can check out my rankings here!

PUMP – Tyler Higbee, TE

NFFC ADP – TE10 (#110 Overall)

NDL Rank – TE9

Recency Bias is a real thing in fantasy football. When people are too high on a guy and get let down, they tend to go too far in the opposite direction. That is precisely what is happening with Tyler Higbee. He was being touted as a top 6 TE last year based on his last 4 games in 2019, and he was as big letdown. In 2021, he is being drafted more appropriately, and I am a fan of his value. He is one of my favorites among the big group of 10 or so TEs being drafted after the top 6 who can make the leap into the top 5.

DUMP – N/A

NFFC10 ADP – N/A

NDL Rank – N/A

For a team that is being hyped as a Super Bowl contender, the Rams are really being over drafted in fantasy this preseason. Robert Woods is a being taken a little higher than I would prefer, but not by much. Darrell Henderson will presumably take over as the lead ball carrier with Cam Akers out for the year, so he has a chance to live up to his current 5th round ADP. I may be slightly jaded because I was used to getting him the 9th round earlier this off season, but that’s a personal thing.
