According to Albert Breer, the Eagles offered RB Jordan Howard and a draft pick to the Los Angeles Chargers for current holdout RB Melvin Gordon and a draft pick. Obviously the Chargers responded with a "Nah Bruh".
Fantasy Take
I had to double-check and triple-check I read the Rotoworld blurb correctly. The Eagles tried the Chargers like a red-headed step child with that offer, but at the same time, I can't blame them. It appears Melvin Gordon is prepared to stand his ground and only report when he absolutely has to. He only needs to play 6 games to get his year of service. Austin Ekeler remains a low-end RB2 and Justin Jackson remains a low-end RB4 until further notice.
