Week 1 DFS Fanduel Cash Plays

NFL DFS is back, baby! Time to lock in those lineups and win some cash.

Here are DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Cash Plays of the week

QB

Kyler Murray – ARI ($8,400) vs Titans

Kyler Murray is back healthy and ready to show he has what it takes to carry the Cardinals to the playoffs. He has some new weapons to play with in A.J. Green, Rondale Moore, and James Conner. He still has DeAndre Hopkins to throw to as well, and top 3 mobility at the QB position. The Cardinals play the Titans secondary who is average at best, and they have the 8th highest implied team total (25) in the game with the 2nd highest Vegas O/U (53). There will be fantasy points galore in this game.

RB

James Robinson – JAC ($5,900) vs Texans

James Robinson comes into week 1 with the highest Points Per Dollar Value at the RB position (2.74) on the Main Fanduel Slate. He has the backfield virtually to himself and faces off against a Texans defense that is arguably the worst in the league. At $5,900, he provides huge salary relief and allows you to fit other high-priced studs into your lineups at basically every other position. He is as close to a free square as we will get in week 1.

WR

Laviska Shenault. Jr.– JAC ($5,600) vs Texans

Laviska Shenault was the flavor of the month in the last of Fantasy draft season. He benefits from the unfortunate injury to Travis Etienne. He is the anticipated leading WR for a team who is expected to be passing more often than not. The Texans who already had an awful secondary just traded away their best Cornerback. Shenault has a great price in week 1 and can fit in any lineup easily.

TE

George Kittle – SF ($7,000) vs Lions

When all of the 49ers receiving weapons were healthy last season, Kittle was the main guy. That will be the case in week 1 as San Francisco takes on the Lions. TE scoring is highly correlated with Vegas totals, and the 49ers have the 4th highest Vegas implied total (26.5) on the main slate. He provides a $1,500 savings from Kelce while still giving you a solid floor and elite upside.

D/ST

Denver Broncos – ($4,100) vs Giants

The Broncos are my favorite D/ST regardless of format for week 1. They get Von Miller back to bolster the pass rush, and rookie CB Pat Surtain II looks like the real deal. They also face off against Daniel Jones, who has the most turnover at the QB position since he entered the league in 2019. This game has the lowest Vegas O/U (41.5) on the Fanduel Main Slate, and the Giants have the 3rd lowest Vegas implied total (19.25) on the slate as well. Turnovers and scoring opportunities will be there for the Broncos.
