Draft Hustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Plays of the week

QB

Cam Newton – NE ($7,300)

Cam Newton is healthy and ready to show the league that he is still elite. He gets a juicy matchup against the Dolphins. He was very undervalued in season long drafts and I expect that to carry over to at least week 1 in DFS, making him very low owned play.

RB

Kenyan Drake – SF ($6,600)

The 49ers have an excellent secondary, but their run defense is middle of the pack. Drake averaged 120 Total yards & 5 receptions per game against them last season. Deforest Buckner is gone which opens up more running lanes for Drake. The allure of the 49ers defense being elite will keep Drake’s ownership low, making him a sneaky Tourney target.

WR

Davante Adams– ARI ($8,000)

With everyone looking to get a piece of the Bucs/Saints game, I expect Davante Adams to fly under the radar. He is the only WR of note in Green Bay going against a very inexperienced Vikings secondary. Expect plenty of targets and a great chance to score at least one TD.

TE

Hayden Hurst – NYG ($6,800)

Hayden Hurst is taking over for Austin Hooper in the Falcons offense. Seattle was a great matchup for TEs last season, and even though they signed Jamal Adams, we have no clue how he will be used. Hurst should get plenty of single coverage with Julio and Ridley on the outside.

D/ST

Indianapolis Colts – ($3,700)

With a lot of people playing James Robinson against the Colts, it is highly unlikely that the Indy DST will be highly rostered, making them a nice contrarian play. At $3,700, they offer a decent savings from the more popular plays this week.
