Draft Hustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Plays of the week
QB
Josh Allen – BUF ($8,200) vs Dolphins
Cam Newton but up a solid game vs the Dolphins in week 1, and they get to face a slightly lesser version of Cam Newton in Josh Allen in week 2. Allen had the first 300 yard passing game of his career last week, and should keep that momentum going against the Dolphins.
RB
Dalvin Cook – MIN ($8,000) vs Colts
Dalvin Cook faces the Colts rush defense who gave up a decent performance to the undrafted rookie James Robinson. With many of the elite running backs all in more high scoring games, Dalvin will fly under the radar with lower ownership and has weekly RB1 upside.
WR
Tyreek Hill – KC ($8,000) vs Chargers
Tyreek Hill was mediocre in the season opener against the Texans, so I wouldn’t expect him to be on the radar of many fantasy owners in week 2. I would expect Andy Reid and the Chiefs to find ways to scheme Tyreek open and use his speed. With less than 5% projected ownership, he is in a great position to break the slate and win DFS players some cash.
TE
Jonnu Smith – TEN ($4,900) vs Jaguars
A.J. Brown will not play against the Jaguars in week 2, so some targets have opened up for other weapons, mainly Jonnu Smith. He faces a weak secondary and is a great price on Fanduel. If you are looking for some salary cap relief, Jonnu is a great contrarian play at TE this week.
D/ST
Pittsburgh Steelers – ($4,600) vs Broncos
We all got to watch the Steelers shut down Saquon Barkley in week 1, and they have a great matchup facing the Broncos this week. Denver has the lowest Vegas implied total on the slate this week. I anticipate the 49ers being the most popular play, so the Steelers are a nice pivot, and they provide a small discount to distribute elsewhere.
