DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Game Plays of the Week!
QB
Russell Wilson – DEN ($6,800) vs Titans
Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos offense showed a half of competent football in week 8 and had a week to build on that performance during the bye. They get a solid matchup in week 10 against the Titans. They give up the 2nd most passing yards to QBs on the season, and Russell has the weapons to attempt to exploit that. His $6,900 price tag is low enough to justify using him in DFS, and his perception (and poor) this season will keep his ownership low enough to make him a viable GPP QB.
RB
Jonathan Taylor – IND ($7,000) vs Raiders
Jonathan Taylor probably won’t live up to his #1 overall pick in fantasy status, but we don’t care about that on DFS. He has no injury designation headed into week 10 against the Raiders. AT $7,000, Taylor is at the lowest price he will ever be. The Colts have a new coach and young QB, ad their best friend is a strong running game. Expect 20 touches minimum for Taylor, and a few catches to boot, as the Raiders have given up the most receiving yards per game to RBs, and there is no Nyheim Hines in Indy.
WR
Chris Olave – WR ($7,500) vs Steelers
Chris Olave has been the best rookie WR this year, and he will continue to produce in this week 10 matchup against the Steelers. Pittsburgh ranks dead last in receiving yards per game allowed, yards per target allowed, TD% allowed, and Fanduel PPG allowed to WRS. The return of TJ Watt should give the defense a boost but expect Olave to produce elite numbers against that secondary.
TE
Tyler Higbee –LAR ($6,000) vs Cardinals
We are playing the matchups with this play. Tyler Higbee faces the Cardinals who have been perennially terrible vs TEs and will likely be without Buddha Baker and Byron Murphy. The Cardinals give up the most yards per game and second most Fanduel PPG to TEs. Matt Stafford will likely be out with a concussion, so expect John Wolford, the projected starter to lean on Higbee against a banged up secondary.
D/ST
New Orleans Saints – ($3,900) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
The Saints defense showed some improvement in week 9, but they have a much better matchup in week 10 against the Steelers offense. Pittsburgh gives up the 3rd most Fantasy points to opposing D/STs, and gives up the 4th most fantasy points above average to D/STs. Their $3,900 price tag is the main reason I love this defense but expect plenty of chances to INTs and sacks this week.
