Draft Hustle's Top Fanduel Plays for Week 2 Main Slate

QB

Josh Allen – BUF ($7,500)

The Giants’ defense was atrocious last week vs Dallas, and there are no signs of it getting better. Josh Allen looked pretty good, or at least good for him, in week 1, and he gets a shot at the Giants this week. His floor will always be high due to his rushing ability. This game also doesn’t have one of the highest Vegas totals this week, making Allen a good contrarian play in both cash and tournaments this week.

RB

Matt Brieda – SF ($5,600)

Back up RB’s always provide the most value the the 1st week they become the starter, due to Fanduel pricing coming out before the start of the week. Many considered Breida to be better than Tevin Coleman prior to the injury, and now he gets his shot at the Cincinnati defense. Free squares pop up occasionally and Breida fits that bill this week. Don’t get too cute. Lock him in.

WR

Tyrell Williams – OAK ($5,900)

The Raiders appeared to have been rejuvenated after the AB saga came to an end, and Tyrell took advantage of the bump in targets, finishing with a 7/6/105/1 line against a good Broncos defense on the road. This week, they get the Chiefs’ defense at home. Williams also come at a good price thanks to playing on Monday night in week 1. Plug him in and save room for studs elsewhere.

TE

Travis Kelce – KC ($8,000)

It’s not often that he most expensive player at a position is a contrarian play, but I believe Travis Kelce will be this week. There are a lot of cheaper TEs who produced last week and their prices didn’t adjust for one reason or another, and I expect them to be the chalk. Kelce gets the Raiders in his first game without Tyreek Hill, so the targets will come in bunches.

Chicago Bears – ($4,500)

The Bears defense picked up right where they left off last season by shutting down the Packers. They haven’t played since last Thursday, so I don’t expect them to be on the top of most player’s minds. Combine that with the fact that the Dolphins are on the slate, and you get a rare combo of low ownership for a top ranked group at the position. Take the $400 savings from the Patriots defense and by your loved ones something nice for Halloween.
