Lamar Jackson – BAL ($8,400) vs Lions

Lamar Jackson is coming off of the biggest regular season win of his career after beating the Chiefs on Monday night. He faces the Lions who have been carved up by Jimmy Garoppolo and Aaron Rodgers in the first 2 weeks of the season. Lamar has a safe floor thanks to the rushing. He also provides a very high ceiling while giving you a $600 discount from Kyler Murray.

RB

Austin Ekeler – LAC ($7,000) vs Chiefs

Austin Ekeler faces the Chiefs who have been gashed by RBs this season. They have given up the most yards per carry and the second most rushing TDs this season. Ekeler is coming off a 9 catch game in week 2 and is expected be in a shoot-out (54.5 Vegas Over/Under). Start him in all formats with ease.

WR

Robert Woods – LAR ($6,100) vs Buccaneers

Last week, Cooper Kupp was the Rams WR to target. This week it is Robert Woods turn. At only $6100, Woods will not need much to give you at least 2x value. He faces a Tampa Bay secondary that has been subpar so far this season, and this game is tied for the highest Vegas Total (55.5) of the week to go along with a 1-point spread. Points will be scored and Woods is primed for a breakout.

Travis Kelce – KC ($8,500) vs Chargers

Choosing a TE in DFS so far this season has boiled down to Travis Kelce, Darren Waller or your favorite punt play. Kelce is on the main slate this week so he is the guy this week. He at least 6 catches and has scored at least one TD in both games this season. The Chiefs have the highest implied Vegas total (30.5) so there will be fantasy points galore. You really don’t need convincing to play Travis Kelce, but I gave some anyway.

Denver Broncos – ($5,000) vs Jets

We are continuing the trend of chasing the team with the lowest Vegas implied total for our cash defense in DFS. This week that team is the Jets, at 15.5. Rookie QB Zach Wilson is coming off of a 4 Int game in week 2, so the opportunity for turnovers is there. We also have plenty of low priced options at other positions to be able to afford the highest priced defense on the slate.
