DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Cash Game Plays of the week
QB
Jalen Hurts – PHI ($8,100) vs Commanders
Jalen Hurts has been playing at an MVP level so far this season, and yet Fanduel hasn’t raised his salary, so we will continue to use him. He is averaging 29.4 Fanduel PPG this season while only throwing 1 passing TD. Jalen’s rushing ability keeps his floor extremely high, so any passing TDs will boost him to a top 3 QB in any given week. He faces the Washington Commanders who have been lit up by Trevor Lawrence and Jared Goff this season.
RB
Leonard Fournette – TB ($7,200) vs Packers
Leonard Fournette has been one of the few bellcow RBs in fantasy so far this season. He is currently averaging 22.5 carries and 3 targets per game, so he will get the work. He faces the Green Bay Packers, who have given 143 rushing yards per game this season, which is tied for the most in the league. The Buccaneers top WRs are banged up/ suspended, so the offense will lean on Fournette, and so will we @ $7,200.
WR
Mike Williams – LAC ($7,000) vs Jaguars
The Chargers make a huge mistake not targeting Mike Williams in week 1. They corrected that mistake by targeting him 10 times in week 2 and he put up 21.3 Fanduel points. That trend will continue in week 3 as they face the Jaguars in Los Angeles. The Jaguars defense isn’t very good despite holding the Colts to 0 points in week 2. Mike Williams’ TD scoring ability along with his $7,000 price tag makes him viable in Cash Games and GPPs on Fanduel.
TE
Travis Kelce – KC ($7,800) vs Colts
Travis Kelce is back on the main slate in week 3 thankfully, because the TE position is ugly without him. The Chiefs face the Colts in week 3 who were humiliated by the Jaguars. Kelce will be well rested and will look to bounced back from a mediocre week 2 performance. The Chiefs have the 3rd highest Vegas Implied Team total (28 pts), so expect plenty of Chiefs TDs, with Kelce being a likely recipient of at least 1.
D/ST
Cincinnati Bengals – ($3,600) vs New York Jets
The Bengals are the cash defense of choice yet again this week and they face the New York Jets. Their price is even lower than it was last week @ $3,600, so it shouldn’t take much for them to get to 2x value. They are pretty much plug and play this week.
