QB

Kyler Murray – ARI vs Lions - $8,300

After a subpar week 1, Kyler Murray bounced back with a spectacular week 2, throwing for 3 pass TDs and rushing got 59 yards (28.54 FanDuel points).  He looks to be back to his pre-ACL tear form, and will look to continue that play in week 3 against a mediocre Detroit Lions defense.  This game has the highest Vegas Over/Under (51.5 points) on the slate, so there will be plenty of points scored and plenty of chances for Kyler Murray to put up FanDuel points. His $8,300 price tag provides a little discount from the other top QBs on the slate, allowing you to spend a few extra dollars on other positions without sacrificing upside. 

RB

Cam Akers – HOU vs Vikings - $4,000

Cam Akers has had pockets of production, but this is purely a value play.  $4,000 for a starting RB in an elite offense is too good of a spot to not take advantage of.  Joe Mixon has averaged 23 opportunities a game over the first 2 weeks if the season, so I see 20 touches as a reasonable floor for Akers.  He doesn’t have to do much to hit value as his price.  Do not over think this play. 

WR

Brandon Aiyuk – SF vs Rams - $6,500

Brandon Aiyuk is still shaking the rust off from not participating in training camp, and he has a perfect opportunity to bounce back in week 3.  Deebo Samuel and George Kittle are out this week, so Brandon Aiyuk will be in line for all the targets he can handle.  He faces the Los Angeles Rams who just got torched by Marvin Harrison Jr. last week.  Aiyuk has had 5 targets in the first 2 weeks, and I expect that to double at the very least this week. Aiyuk is a great play in cash games as well as GPPs. 

TE

Trey McBride – ARI vs Lions - $6,800

Trey McBride has been the only of the elite TEs this season who has produced like he was drafted, despite his only TD this year being a fumble recovery.  He is still averaging 7.5 targets and a 5.5 catches this year.  In week 3, he is facing the Detroit Lions who have a sub-par secondary.  TE production correlates very well with Vegas Totals (51.5 O/U), so expect plenty of targets for Trey McBride in this matchup.

D/ST

Green Bay Packers– vs Titans - $4,000

There aren’t many value D/STs with good matchups this week, so we are riding with the best D/ST value according to our model, the Green Bay Packers.  They face the Tennessee Titans whose QB Will Levis has had some untimely turnovers so far this year.  Green Bay currently leads the NFL in INTs, so there is a high chance they get at least one in this matchup.
