These are my favorite DFS plays of the main slate on Fanduel.
Kyle Allen – CAR ($6,000)
Cam Newton has been announced out, Kyle Allen gets the start in week 3 against the Cardinals. He played a decent game in week 17 last year and is in a great situation. The Cardinals run an insane amount of plays which boosts the value of all players involved. That pace should lead to a lot of passing value, and combined with Allen’s minimum price, he free’s up plenty pf space to get other studs in your lineups.
Christian McCaffrey – CAR ($8,900)
Christian McCaffrey is coming off of his worst game in a while last week, which mean the general public will be off of him this week. His is in a pace-up match up against the Cardinals, and should see plenty of carries and dump offs. Everyone will be on Ezekiel Elliott and his matchup against the Dolphins which should suppress McCaffrey’s ownership.
Nelson Agholor – PHI ($4,800)
We have another free square this week, ladies and gentlemen. With no Desean Jackson and a hampered Alshon Jeffrey, Nelson Agholor will get plenty of work this week against the Lions. He has played nearly 90% of the snaps in week 1 & 2, and now he will get the targets to match. Jeffrey will likely draw Darius Slay, so Agholor gets the reserves. Don’t overthink it. Play the Free Square!
George Kittle – SF ($6,600)
George Kittle has disappointed so far this season, but is in a good bounce-back spot vs a struggling Pittsburgh team. Will Dissly scored twice against the Steelers secondary last week, so they can be had in that secondary. His ownership will be low given his performance this season, making him a good contrarian play.
Green Bay – ($4,500)
The Packers defense has been the most surprising unit of the season thus far. They get their shot at Joe Flacco on the road this week. Expect low ownership and enjoy the salary savings with everyone loading up in the Patriots and the Cowboys.
