Week 5 DFS Fanduel Tournament Plays
Draft Hustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Plays of the week
Daniel Jones – DAL ($7,100) vs Cowboys
Daniel Jones is in a smash spot in week 5 facing the Cowboys horrendous defense. They are giving up an average of 254 pass yards and almost 3 pass TDs a game. The only downside is trying to figure out with mediocre pass option to stack Daniel Jones with. At $7,100, you really can’t go wrong playing him in tourneys.
Kenyan Drake – ARI ($6,200) vs Jets
Kenyan Drake has been a big disappointment so far, but he gets his best matchup to date in week 5 as he faces the Jets. They are giving up over 28 Fanduel Points per game to RBs, and just gave up 100 yards and 2 TDs to Melvin Gordon. Drake’s price and recent lack of production make him a solid play in tourneys this week.
Brandin Cooks – HOU ($5,200) vs Jaguars
Brandin Cooks is facing a very banged up Jaguars secondary this week. Cooks had 0 catches last week, meaning his ownership will be extremely low this week and its time to pounce. The Texans have fired their coach/GM who apparently didn’t get along with anyone on the team, so expect a rejuvenated Texans team in week 5.
Zach Ertz – PHI ($6,500) vs Seahawks
We are continuing the theme of rostering players who disappointed last week. Ertz draws a tough matchup, and somehow managed to have 4 catches for 9 yards last week. He is, however the most reliable starting option for the Eagles and should continue to get targets.
Houston Texans – ($3,700) vs Jaguars
Continuing the theme of attacking the lowly Jaguars with this play. Romeo Cromel is the interim coach for the Texans after firing Bill O’Brien. Reportedly, he was in a shouting match with JJ Watt, so how can you not expect less than 3 sacks from the former 3-time defensive Player of the Year?
