Most of the top cash QBs aren’t on the main Fanduel slate this week, so Russ stands out as the top play. He gets the Tampa Bay secondary, who is giving 300 Passing Yards and 2 Passing TDs on average this season. Seattle also has by far the highest Vegas Implied total of the slate at 29, so there is
plenty of scoring to be had to Russ and Seattle this week.
RB
Jaylen Samuels – PIT ($5,000)
Jaylen Samuel is the “Free Square” of week 9. James Conner is doubtful with a shoulder injury, and Benny Snell Jr. is recovery from meniscus surgery, so Jaylen is in line to get all of the Steeler’s running back touches. The Colts are giving up and average of 128 Total Yards per Game to RBs. Don’t’ overthink it this week. Plug Samuels in all of your cash lineups.
WR
D.J.Moore – CAR ($5,400)
This is a pure Value/Volume play. It’s rare to get a team’s number 1 receiver who is priced below $6k. He is also averaging 9 targets and over 70 receiving yards over his last 3 games. Curtis Samuel is banged up with a shoulder injury, so Moore could be targeted more than normal against a middle of the pack Titans secondary.
TE
Darren Waller – NYG ($6,600)
Darren Waller had a off week last week, with only 2 receptions for 11 yards, but expect him to bounce back against the Lions Secondary in week 9. Waller has scored 3 TDs over his last 2 games and lead the Raiders in every other receiving stat. His ownership will also be a little depressed based on last weeks subpar performance, making him and intriguing Tourney play as well.
D/ST
Buffalo Bills – ($5,000)
The Buffalo Bills get the gift of facing the Washington Redskins this week,
who will be giving Dwayne Haskins his first career start. Not much else needs to be said about how good this matchup is. The Redskins also have the lowest implied Vegas Total of the slate. Expect plenty turnovers and sacks from the Bills this week. Lock em in.
