Week 5 DFS Fanduel Cash Plays

DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Cash Game Plays of the week

QB

Tom Brady – TB ($7,800) vs Falcons

The Buccaneers may have looked bad on Sunday night against the Chiefs, but Tom Brady’s stat line looked incredible, and that’s what we care about in DFS. The Bucs WRs are getting healthy, and it is showing in Brady’s performance as he went 385 passing yards and 3 TDs. He gets to face the Falcons, who he has never lost to. I expect an angry Brady to demolish the Falcons, and 4+ pass TDs is a real possibility, and he is very easy to stack.

RB

Dalvin Cook – MIN ($7,300) vs Bears

Dalvin Cook has been an enigma so far this season. He has gotten at least 17 carries in 3 of 4 games but has yet to get more than 14 Fanduel Points. Week 5 is a great chance for that to change. He faces the Bears who give up the 3rd most rushing yards (127.25) per game. The last time the Bears faced an RB with similar talent to Dalvin Cook (Aaron Jones in week 2), they gave up 170 total yards and 2 TDs. That stat line is well within the range of possibilities for Dalvin this week, and he is affordable enough to be played in cash and tourney lineups.

WR

Robert Woods – TEN ($5,900) vs Commanders

Robert Woods is the only man standing in the Titans WR room after Treylon Burks’ turf toe injury, and we will ride in him week 5. He has great matchup this week against the Commanders, who rank in the bottom 5 in the league receiving yards allowed, TD% allowed, yards per target allowed, and Fanduel PPG allowed to WRs. Robert Woods should easily approach double digit targets this week and fits safely into cash lineups.

TE

Dallas Goedert – PHI ($6,100) vs Cardinals

With both Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews absent from the main DFS slate in week 5. We have to once again go bargain hunting when selecting a TE. Dallas Goedert is my favorite cash game play at TE this week. The Eagles face the Cardinals who the second-best matchup for TEs this season, only because TJ Hockenson went Super Sayain against the Seahawks last week. Goedert has averaged 5 targets as game this season, and I expect a little bit more this week as this Eagles/Cardinals matchup has the highest Vegas O/U (49 Points) on the slate.

D/ST

Minnesota Vikings – ($4,300) vs Chicago Bears

We are once again attacking the Chicago Bears offense with our cash game D/ST. The Bears continued their streak of having at least 1 turnover a game, and we have no reason to believe that will in week 5. The Vikings have a good defensive line, and the Chicago Bears have a terrible so multi sack potential is there. The Bears offense stinks.
