DraftHustle’s Top DFS Plays of the week for Fanduel and Draftkings
QB
Patrick Mahomes – KC vs Chargers
Fanduel - $9,200; Draftkings - $8,300
Patrick Mahomes has not been his usual ultra elite self, but he is still putting up top QB numbers this season. He is currently in the top 5 in pass attempts and pass TDs per game this season. He faces a terrible Los Angeles Chargers defense who gives up the most Fanduel PPG, the most passing yards per game, and the second most Yards per attempt to QBs. The Chiefs have the highest team implied total (26.5 points) in the game with the highest Vegas Over/Under (47.5), so there will be touchdowns scored by the Chiefs and Mahomes will be involved in most, if not all of them.
RB
Josh Jacobs – LV vs Bears
Fanduel - $8,000; Draftkings - $7,400
Josh Jacobs has gotten the touches of an elite RB, but he has not had the production of an elite RB thus far. In week 7 against the Chicago Bears he has a chance to finally turn it around. He has averaged over 26 opportunities (rushing attempts + targets) over his last 3 games, and with Jimmy Garoppolo out this week, his workload will once again be heavy. Chicago gives up the most receiving yards per game to RBs, so his involvement in the passing game will boost his potential. Expect Jacobs 1st 100-yard rushing game of the season this week.
WR
Christian Watson – GB vs Broncos
Fanduel - $6,600; Draftkings - $5,600
In his second game back from a hamstring injury, Christian Watson targets went from 4 to 7 and his snap share grew from 48% to 84%. Watson and the Packers face a historically bad Denver Broncos defense in week 7, and I love his upside. Denver has the 3rd highest TD% allowed and 2nd highest yards per target allowed to WRs, so Watson’s big play ability will be on full display this week. This game surprisingly has the second highest Vegas Over/Under (45 points) on this slate, and Green Bay has the 4th highest implied team total. The game could be a shootout, and Watson would benefit from it greatly.
TE
Luke Musgrave – GB vs Broncos
Fanduel - $5,000; Draftkings - $3,300
Travis Kelce is the obvious option here every week he is on the slate, but I don’t want to pay up for TE this week, so I am switching it going with the guy who has by far the best matchup, Luke Musgrave. After a terrible week 4 against Detroit, Musgrave bounced back with a solid week 5 performance, catching 6 of 7 targets with a 69% snap share. In week 7 he faces a Denver Broncos secondary that gives up the most yards per target per game, receiving yards per game, and Fanduel PPG to the TE position. Luke Musgrave is a lock if you are not paying up for Kelce this week.

New York Giants– vs Commanders
Fanduel - $3,400; Draftkings - $3,000
After getting obliterated the first 4 weeks of the season, the New York Giants defense has stepped up against 2 of the best offenses in the league the last couple of weeks, averaging 8.5 Fanduel PPG against the Dolphins and Bills. They face the Commanders in week 7, who are giving up the 5th most PPG to D/STs and allowing D/STs to score the 4th most PPG above their season average. At $3,400, the savings make them a very intriguing option ins both cash games and GPPs.
